During my decades of experience in libraries, I’ve dedicated my career to deepening my own community-centered practices and leading both staff and leadership teams to grow authentic engagement with their communities.

 

My particular expertise lies in meaningfully envisioning the “big picture” while creating actionable ways for each team member to concretely move forward in their work.

 

I’m a librarian, strategist, facilitator, trainer, and speaker with deep experience in libraries, as well as with community based groups, nonprofit organizations, governmental agencies, and research institutions. I’ve worked with/in urban, suburban, rural, tribal, and prison libraries, and I believe in connection, collaboration, rigor, and joy.
